Argh Nostalgia!
I was just reading all my previous posts dating back to 2008! I think writing about events and your feelings really captures that particular moment quite well! and that memory is easily retraceable.
Probably because I could never relive those moments ever again, I particularly missed those days in Brisbane with Sacha, Nicholas and the other bunch of friends, despite all the drama-mama, it was still extremely memorable for me. It has been 1 year and a half and I could even remember those smaller insignificant events! I could have never experience all these if I were in Singapore then.
I would be studying bioengineering in the near future. Maybe I would further my studies in IHBI in Queensland back at the same lab!
That’s why I shall continue blogging! Not only for you friends out there but for myself as well! =)
aww. i miss staying together in brisbane. it’s so fun to live together. despite all the drama and arguments! remember those maggots ewww! and remember sleeping at the living room? and remember the wondergirls alarm tone you have?! the planning for outings on weekends, chilling at southbanks, trying new and good food (mmmm pig n whistle fish thingy and mmmmmmmmmm churros and donuts and boost!). having wine and then watching you get progressively redder. going shopping at factory outlets, the long travelling time, you nodding off to sleep a few minutes into the bus ride, cooking (LOL PIG <3), opening the fridge 124734363452635 times a night just because we're bored, having yoghurt, big m, blueberry waffles, mee goreng. gold coast, sunshine coast, lone pine's! doing laundry (and your jeans still getting detergent all over), grocery shopping (spamming timtams and snacks!)
i can go on forever. ah, good times.
OMG! i especially look forward to the weekends cause we get to go to many places! I love sunshine coast!! yea, the pig heart was damn hilarious. like it kept oozing water out! the semi dry sweet and sour sauce became like gravy after that. and we bbq the corn using the stove! and everytime I hear wondergirls nobody it reminds me of brisbane! I think it’s because of that alarm tone. LOL. and i still remember that ultra nice small piece of chocolate brownie we bought. you forgot your late-night webcaming sessions with that guy..lol I forgot his name. and that first morning when I fell off from the sofa causing the whole house to tremble! and all that ghostly experience you all had in the house. and you looking for ice cream at every place we go! (baskin robbin and copenhagen!) and that kebab store in kelvin grove. delicious!! and remember that vacuum cleaner we tried to clean. HAHA! and to save money we even cooked instant pasta using the microwave at the pantry. while everyone else were queuing behind!
ok i shall stop reminiscing.
